Ellis

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

During my time at ViP Hair I have progressed to

“Top Stylist” by having a strong work ethic and always wanting to grow and learn.
I thrive off making clients feel more confident about themselves, hair is such an important part of someone’s personality and I really enjoy focusing on the client ,discovering as much about the as I can and bringing out the clients individuality in a style or colour that really suits them.
Creative, bespoke colours and short hair from Pixie to Blunt Bobs are my specialist areas, with a strong gent’s clientele I like to think of myself as a clipper specialist too.
To me my hair my Hairdressing career is just getting started and there are so many areas that excite me .every day brings a new and different challenge!
When I’m not working I love to socialise and im a sucker for a city break but equally I love down time to relax, I like to go on a bike ride or take a long walk with friends.
All ready for another exciting week in the salon.

SENIOR STYLIST

I have been hairdressing for 25 years this year and I still love everything about my job.
I think my biggest strength is attention to detail and giving my clients the “Wow Factor”
Colour has always been my “forte” getting to know each client personally and working with them to achieve’ their look’ by using my knowledge and skills I have gained over the years.
My goal is to make people feel great and that’s why I love my job.
For fun and fitness I discovered “jump rope” during lockdown and now I’m a “skipping nut” for extra adventure I love long walks or hikes with my family.

I love to be creative!
Hairdressing is always changing and moving in different directions and in my 15 years in the industry I have embraced all of these changes.
To really understand my clients needs and to offer expert advice and provide a high level of service and personal care is what makes this job so special.
Outside work I am the mother of two young children who keep me extremely busy. Hairdressing has always been my creative outlet and working with the team and my clients makes my day.

ADVANCED STYLIST

Hairdressing was the only career I ever considered as I started as an apprentice at VIP Hair 8 years ago.
I always take a real pride in what I do and enjoy
all aspects of my work; I particularly like to colour,
exploring new techniques, tones and shades and really getting my clients excited around these possibilities.

Being conscientious I will endeavor to provide you with invaluable maintenance tips from blow dry’s colour care to ensure that Salon feel can be achieved at home.

STYLIST

Since qualifying 2 years ago I have been concentrating on building my client base and

developing my hairdressing skills.
Being able to “lift” your clients by giving them a great cut or colour or just being there to listen

makes this job unique.
I am particularly interested in the cutting/styling and colouring of naturally wavy or curly hair, having curls myself I understand the challenges this hair type can present and I’m here to guide and advise

you on achieving your “best look”
Hairdressing really is the best job in the world and I’m determined to be the very best I can be.

I’m Poppy, I joined the Vip team as an apprentice in September 2022.

I’m very passionate about my job and love learning new skills everyday.

I always receive amazing feedback from clients complementing my head massages.

I cant wait to become a stylist and have my own clientele.
