Ellis
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Within my role as Artistic Director, it is my responsibility to ensure the creative integrity of the salon, while also looking ahead to it’s future needs.
I'm passionate about maintaining high standards, developing our team and keeping the salon fresh,
creative and progressive.
I thrive off making clients feel more confident about
themselves. Hair is such an important part of someone’s
personality and I really enjoy focusing on the client, discovering as much about them as I can and bringing out the client’s individuality in a style or colour that really suits them.
Creative, bespoke colours and short hair, from Pixie to Blunt
Bobs are my specialist areas, and with a strong gent’s clientele I like to think of myself as a clipper specialist too.
To me my hairdressing career is continually evolving and there are so many areas that excite me. Every day brings a new and different challenge!
When I’m not working I love to socialise and I’m a sucker for a city break but equally I love down time to relax, I also like to go on a bike ride or take a long walk with friends.

CREATIVE STYLIST
I have been hairdressing for over 25 years and I still love
everything about my job.
I think my biggest strength is attention to detail and giving my clients the “Wow Factor”
Colour has always been my “forte” getting to know each client personally and working with them to achieve’ their look’ by using my knowledge and skills I have gained over the years.
My goal is to make people feel great and that’s why I love my job.
For fun and fitness I’m and adrenaline junky, hill walking, rock climbing and rock climbing is what I love to do, and I’m proud to have completed the 3 Peaks 24 Hour Challenge.

I love to be creative!
Hairdressing is always changing and moving in different
directions and in my 20 years in the industry I have embraced all of these changes.
To really understand my clients needs and to offer expert
advice and provide a high level of service and personal care is what makes this job so special.
Outside work I am the mother of two young children who keep me extremely busy. Hairdressing has always been my creative outlet and working with the team and my clients makes my day.

SENIOR STYLIST
Hairdressing was the only career I ever considered as I started as an apprentice at Vip Hair 12 years ago.
I always take a real pride in what I do and enjoy
all aspects of my work; I particularly like to colour,
exploring new techniques, tones and shades and really getting my clients excited around these possibilities.
Being conscientious I will endeavor to provide you with
invaluable maintenance tips from blow dry’s, colour care to
ensure that Salon feel can be achieved at home.

ADVANCED STYLIST
I started my career at Vip as an apprentice and have now
progressed to an Advance Stylist.
Being able to “lift” your clients by giving them a great cut or
colour or just being there to listen
makes this job unique.
I am particularly interested in the cutting/styling and colouring of naturally wavy or curly hair, having curls myself I understand the challenges this hair type can present and I’m here to guide and advise you on achieving your “best look”.
Hairdressing really is the best job in the world and I’m
determined to be the very best I can be.

TOP STYLIST
After just celebrating 25 years at Vip my passion for my job is as strong as ever. I consider myself an all rounder but I do love styling long hair, from elegant updo’s to soft waves and adding that colour dimension too.
Our industry is constantly evolving
and I like to think that as a stylist I am too.
Outside of work I’m very much a family person and enjoy nothing more than spending quality time together

STYLIST
I came into hairdressing later in my career after many of working in customer service.
Starting with barbering I have now qualified
as a stylist. I love the diversity that hairdressing brings and the fact that every single day, and every single client are different.

I joined the Vip team as an apprentice in September 2022 and I am now in my fourth year as a hairdresser and I’m busy building my clientele.
I love all aspects of my job but especially colouring hair, working with all textures and types to ensure my clients leave salon feeling fabulous.

FRONT OF HOUSE
Our front-of-house team are such an important part of the salon.
Both Edel and Sarah have been with us for several years, they know our clients well and help keep everything running smoothly, from managing appointments
and enquiries to giving everyone a warm welcome when they walk through the door.
They’re a highly valued part of our team and a big part of what makes the salon feel welcoming.
